WHEEL OF FORTUNE’S VANNA WHITE TO SERVE AS AMBASSADOR OF 2026 ONEFLIGHT MYRTLE BEACH CLASSIC

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (March 30, 2026) – The ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic announced today
that Vanna White, the renowned co-host of Wheel of Fortune, has accepted an invitation to be
the tournament’s ambassador for the 2026 edition. White, who hails from North Myrtle Beach,
has co-hosted the popular game show since 1982.

On Wheel of Fortune, White is known for revealing letters on the iconic puzzleboard, cheering
on contestants, and dazzling in a new outfit every night. For her work, the Hollywood Chamber
of Commerce honored White with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in April 2006. In
addition to her work on Wheel of Fortune, White has made multiple guest appearances across
films and other television shows over the course of her illustrious career.

“I’m honored that the team at the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic invited me to serve as
ambassador for this year’s event,” said White. “It’s been wonderful to watch this event grow
from the very beginning, and it brings together two of my favorite things — golf and Myrtle
Beach. I look forward to doing my part to help it conTnue to thrive.”

This year’s ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic is slated for May 7-10, 2026, and will return to the
Dunes Golf and Beach Club for a third consecutive year. The ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic
joined the PGA TOUR schedule in 2024, when Chris Gotterup took home the inaugural title by
six shots. Then, last year, New Zealand’s Ryan Fox emerged victorious in a playoff over Harry
Higgs and Mackenzie Hughes.

White has been on the ground for it all, as she played in the Wednesday Pro-Am in both 2024 and 2025. She has also attended several functions during tournament week, namely the 2025 Women’s Day Summit, where she shared her perspective and wisdom to an enthused audience. She also spoke at the Tuesday evening Pro-Am Pairings Party last year, much to the delight of those in attendance.

“We are thrilled to welcome back Vanna White to her hometown area,” said Darren Nelson, tournament director. “She is a legendary figure in television history, and for her to serve as our
tournament’s ambassador means the world to us. We are excited to work with her in
supporting the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic, which continues to grow exponentially as the
years go on.”

Tickets can be purchased by visiting myrtlebeachclassic.com. The event is open to the public
from May 6-10 (Wednesday through Sunday), with ticket options starting at $65 for Thursday and Sunday rounds, $71 for Friday and Saturday rounds, and $44 for Wednesday’s Celebrity Pro-Am. Both daily and weekly general admission tickets are available. Children 15-and-under will
again be admitted free with an adult ticketholder, while military and first responders will have access to two free tickets for Wednesday’s Celebrity Pro-Am, and discounted tickets for all four
