“Myrtle Beach is stepping up to show why it is the Golf Capital of the World,” said Tracy Conner, executive director of the Myrtle Beach Area Golf Course Owners Association. “No other PGA TOUR host city can take advantage of the resourses we have here on the Grand Strand. We are grateful for all volunteers who continue to make this event better every year.”
Volunteers will be able to choose a golf course online on a first-come, first-served basis at a time to be determined following the event.
“We continue to search for ways to say ‘thank you’ to our many volunteers who help make the ONEfight Myrtle Beach Classic a success. And we truly appreciate the Myrtle Beach golf community for all of its support,” said Kat Tucciarone, manager, tournament services and volunteers. “The volunteer package we are offering, including tickets, parking, food and golf, is more than a $500 value.”
Volunteers aged 18 and older are being recruited for gallery management, competition support, hospitality, operations, tournament services, players services, volunteer services, shuttles and more. Registration also remains open for junior volunteers, including standard bearers, ages 13-24.
